Burger Boy,
Ted Mex Burger- guacamole, salsa, pepper Jack, sour cream, garlic Rosemary fries. BB, you’ve been here, off the charts, one of my top 5 burgers of life
-Fat Burger (North End, Boston)
Would you take any advice from this guy???
Take it from me, the burgers at North Street Grill are OUTSTANDING and some of the bigger burgers I’ve come across. Bring your attitude and bring your appetite to this North End hang out. Just stay away from Fat Boy…

Hello Burger-Boy,
I recently sat down at what many consider to be LA’s finest bar/burger joint, Father’s Office. Now, this isn’t the same as going to your father’s office as a young lad, where everyone treats you like a king and gives you candy. No, no, no, this is a free-for-all, get-a-table-when-you-can type of restaurant; no reservations, no “please wait to be seated.” Instead, if there are no tables, you stand around people you think will be leaving soon. You pretend to have a casual conversation with your buddies, but in reality, you’re thinking, “You just finished your beers! Your plates are done! Get up! Get up from your table, you pieces of s***!”

But once you finally get a table, the selection of beers and the burger make the stressful wait worth it. The burger is widely known throughout LA as the best burger in town (within a reasonable price). And if you order your burger medium-rare, as I do every time, be prepared for a bloody and rare burger. An order of “rare” would be closer to a living cow in a bun than a cooked burger, and would make the Burger Boy become the Burger Man. The beer selection is extensive, and every choice is an obscure micro-brew (which actually gives you something to do while you wait for people to get up). I went with the “Polar Bear” this time around. So if you ever make the trip to Los Angeles, make your way to Father’s Office, and be ready to fight for a table…

Justin, Thanks for the write-up and this place sounds like its right up my alley.
Maybe someday, one day, the boy will become a man at this very spot (can I spleep on your floor?).
I have one question for you…”is it a fantaaaastic deal?”

Dear Burger Boy,
BLT burger… is the t#ts! Top notch burger joint – located on 6th ave btwn 11th & 12th. Jerry crushed a Great Hills Blue Burger (7oz. Grilled CAB Burger, Great Hills Blue Cheese, Balsamic Caramelized Onion, Mushrooms)- also I decided throw some bacon on top of that, which was a good decision. Side of sweet potato fries was a no brainer. Washed down with some Magic Hat No 9 (on tap).

Only negative was they didn’t have A1 Sauce (or any steak sauce for that matter)- which I think is a must for a Bacon Blue Cheese burger.

Dear Burger Boy,
Last night the burger boy sent some troops to the find what may be the best burgers east of the… East river! The only thing more surprising then this Bison Burger tasting amazing, was the fact that Mark Sanchez made it through a whole game without a pick! Queens has some great burger joints, but Yermans Pub in Glendale is among the top competitors in this famous Boro.

Dear Burger Boy,
The burger was cooked to perfection (obvi med-rare) and the meat was very flavorful (definitely the best part–which is what I look for in a “great burger”.) It was their Prrime DF burger; meat marinated, seaoned with pepper, topped with melted cheddar, Bermuda onion, fresh tomato, and some lettuce and seasoning. It was the perfect amount of food and left me wanting nothing else but a nap on the couch. 8 out of 10 burgers.
Aaaaaand the waitress was a standard old fashioned Del Friscos money-grubbing six.
-Barrington Burger & Shwarma Head
Thanks Fellas…pretty spot on there with the run down. Been there a few times and you pretty much hit the nail on the head. I am assuming you guys hit the “Corporate Lunch” which is one of the best deals going out there. The truffle chips are a slam dunk along with the beef tips & mashed tators if you’re ever looking to mix it up a bit. But hey, what grown man can hold back on a burger??? – BB

Dear BurgerBoy,

BareBack Burgers

Dear Burger Boy,
I decided to hit the ball out of the park on this trip to Fleming’s and knock the cover off of my credit card. Tampa is known for rows and rows of fastfood chains from Sonic to TGI Friday’s but from time to time one needs to get out off the strip and out of strip clubs (also a cornerstone of the greater Tampa area).
I posted up at the Winebar and was greeted by two delightful bartenders. I said ladies, I am batting clean up tonight and going for the long ball with the Fleming’s Prime Burger. This is an MVP of all burgers consisting of black angus prime beef, cheddar cheese, onion rings and bernaise sauce on the freshest and chewiest brioches of all. Sweeter and smoother than Scott Brosius in October.
This was a difficult burger to tackle however I got it down with a suicide squeeze and manage to clear the plate like a champ.

Shlongoria, good looking out and nice to know you leave it all out on the field and not on your plate.
