1. Connecticut Huskies- Uconn has seen a 3 game skid as inconsistency has been their name.  Stanley Robinson can’t see to put together 40 minutes of play while the young front court seems lost and timid out there.  Jerome Dyson and Kemba Walker have been the teams backbone but look confused in down the stretch plays and game deciding drives.  Maybe the verbal comitment of Oak Hill (VA) recruit Roscoe Smith is looking better and better. (At the least the Lady Huskies look untouchable averaging double digit wins against top 10 teams).

2. North Carolina Tar Heels- UNC has lost an unusual back-to-back while turnovers has been their achilles heel. Despite a late and great come from behind run against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets UNC couldn’t seem to connect on all cylinders.  An outstanding performance from guard Will Graves gave Tar Heel fans something to get on their feet and cheer about but even Roy Williams didn’t have anything left in his tank to become victorious.

3. Georgetown Hoyas- Why couldn’t you pull  it of for me to make the Uconn loss less painful….WHY?

4. Texas Longhorns- They kept their first #1 ranking in school history longer than Lobsterclaw can stay enrolled in Japanese 101.

5. Gonzaga Bulldogs- No real surprises here except that they are overrated just like they were last year (and the year before and the year before and the year before and the year that goon Adam Morrison was there).  I like Mark Few but I have strong distaste for Gonzaga (almost as bad as Michigan State).
