Ladies and Gentlemen please put your mustard and ketchup together for our latest and greatest Burger Babe of the Week, Sarah. Sarah is seen here divulging into a big juicy burger at
What up shorty? Shorty’s 32 is located right in the bread basket of SoHo around the corner from some of my best pals. We decided to give it a shot after a healthy recommendation from a co-worker of mine. So in when we went not knowing to much about it nor what to expect. Let me cut to the chase and fast forward to when we left and give you the re-cap. The place is VERY chill and service is slow (I don’t usually get hung up on service so this didn’t really matter to me). The 8.0z Chargrilled Burger was the selection topped with Gruyere cheese and sauteed mushrooms. The meat was tender, juicy but lacked enough seasoning/flavor. However, a page was cut out of the textbook on how to cook beef to a medium-rare temp…kudos to the chef. The deal breaker for me (as this item often can be) was the bun. It literally was STALE….Stale with a CAPITAL “S”. Being the end of the year maybe they needed to get rid of the bun inventory…Come on people get some fresh buns. Sorry but this manwhich didn’t cut it for me….NEXT!- BB

Where is Burger Boy???? I see him…do you?
Tis’ the season to wear Christmas ties to the office. I took it up a notch this year and decided to sport some nifty suspenders. What better way to celebrate than lunch at Dorian’s and TWO burgers? Yep, thats right. I need to put on some seasonal lbs. in order to make it through another Manhattan winter. Jealous? I would be. Go pick up some ties and supsenders for youself or the kids. I found a great deal at Sears for $9.99 (I got the guy to lower the price from $20). I am a salesman by trade and burger lover at heart. Merry Christmas everyone and don’t forget to dress to impress this holiday season. – BB

Oh what up BB. Post ugly sweater xmas party no. 2 – still nogged up so we decided to hit brunch. Thinking the snow would keep people in we ran into an hour long wait we couldnt handle so we trudged on a few blocks and decided a bar would do the trick. A bar – where the beers are to bloodies as the burgers are to bennies. Broome Street Bar. Glanced at the menu and without hesitation rocked the bacon cheeseburger. Figured it would be decent but went into it without high hopes. A burger is pretty standard, but I wasn’t prepared in slightest for what was coming my. Just a casual cheeseburger shawarma with bacon. That’s right a cheeseburger shawarma. The bacon grease permeated the paddy while the dogfish washed it all down.
