New York Giants Burger Bets The Burger Boy

BURGER BETS

Last Week (2-1) Overall (38-32-2)

Sorry guys, but BurgerBets is busy so lets keep this short and sweet. Merry Christmas to everyone, Happy Kwanzaa to LobstersClaw. As always, HOME TEAM in caps.

Jacksonville (+9) @ NEW ENGLAND. I have been locked onto the Pats games this year whether betting on them or against them. I am sure they are going to win this game, but I think the Jags keep it close with Mojo Drew. I smell either a close one score game throughout or a backdoor cover. Either way, bet the Jags.

Detroit (+13) @ SAN FRANCISCO. Ummm did I miss something? The 49ers shouldn’t be favored by 13 against anyone period. End of story. I am sure they will win, but it will not be a blowout. This is ridiculous. Is Detroit’s roster on strike? If so, ignore this pick. I am frazzled. Go Drew Stanton.

PHILLY (-7) vs Denver. I will be at this game anddddd the Birds are going to cover. I have been hating on Denver all year and I still hold strong. They’re just not that good. They just don’t have the talent to play with the Eagles. Eagles win by double digits. Done.

BIG BUE BURGER

Mediocre showing last week. If I see another one of my team’s commit a false start I may become a vegetarian (sorry bboy). So 3 home teams it is this week…

Colts 5.5 vs. Jets – I was unfortunate enough to be at the Jets game last weekend and it was pathetic. Three botched field goals and three picks from Sanchez. Even if the Colts rest starters, Jet’s are losing by 7+.

Eagles -7 vs. Broncos- This is a huge game for both teams. Eagles have been extremely solid lately. With the return of Westbrook, they should be even more explosive. Denver’s corners are experienced but old and won’t be able to handle Jacksons’ speed. Homeless Phili fans will be taking out their sexual frustration on the away team per usual. Eagles win by 10.

Cleveland -3 vs. Oakland- As I said last week, I’m liking Cleveland for the rest of the season. Cleveland’s running game is really solid and they’re not putting too much pressure on their mediocre quarterback. Cribbs will again be a factor if they get the ball in his hands often enough. I’m also hoping this storm that is looming over the midwest is a problem for Raider’s joke QB Frye. The score will be low, but the Browns win by 6.
