BOSTONHERALD.com-Lindsay Lohan may have cost Mounir Moufarrige his job as president and chief executive of French fashion house Emanuel Ungaro. Moufarrige resigned just two months after hiring LiLo to design a collection for Ungaro. Her designs, which included butt-exposing mini-dresses and heart-shaped nipple pasties, were not deemed a success and were widely panned by fashion critics. Moufarrige, who will stay on as a consultant to the label, hired Lohan as artistic adviser for the spring/summer 2010 show in October. His stated aim was to give the aging brand an “electric shock” that would jolt sales and pull in young, star-struck fashionistas. A spokeswoman for Ungaro said Moufarrige’s departure is not related to Lohan.
