In the heart of the West Village on the corner of W 4th Street and 12th is one of Manhattan’s hidden little gems.  Known for its brunch Cafe Cluny has been featured in GQ’s Manhattan edition.  However, what the fashion tycoon’s fail to mention is the delicious burger on Cluny’s menu.  Cooked to perfection, red/pink center full of flavor and juices, topped with Gruyere cheese and captured in a fresh toasted sesame seed bun…The Cluny Burger.  What up Cluny? Now that’s what I am talking about.  I was very impressed by its richness and flavor given its simplistic appearance (don’t ever judge a burger by its bun).  This burger is worth writing home about and telling your friends.  When down in the West Village before dipping your toes into some pints at The Spotted Pig or before a show at the Comic Strip or after class at SUNY, duck in for a burger at Cafe Cluny.

PS-This burger is just as good looking as George.
