Tucked away off of Carmine Street is a local favorite, Mr. Dennehy’s, and Irish Pub and Restaurant and home of a terrific burger.  Mr. Dennehy knows how to do it up right and make his burgers screaming green, white and organ…Celtic style.  The Mr. Dennehy’s burger is prime beef topped with sharp cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato and piled up with Rashers (Irish Bacon).  If you haven’t had Rashers you don’t know what you are missing.  Think Canadian Bacon, thinner, better natural fatty flavors and a salty kick. I once made a “Mancation” to Ireland playing golf.  My dish of choice at the cottage’s breakfast buffet everyone morning was a Rosie O’Donnell sized plate of Rashers.  This is a close as it gets to the taste of the ole Emerald Isle.  Check it out sooner than later
