Thunder Jackson's- Dirty Burger

Get down and dirty at the West Village’s hidden gem, Thunder Jackson’s.  This is not your typical burger palace by the looks of it from corner of Sullivan and Bleecker.  But, do not be fooled as this is the home of the infamous “Dirty Burger”.  This beefy filthiness  is hand created with 5 different dry rubs and glazed in honey before thrown on the fiery grill.  The catch is that the chef and restaurant staff are so confident in their delicious patty that they will NOT and CANNOT allow you to top you burger with anything.  Thats right, ANYTHING, including lettuce, tomato, onions,pickles or even cheese. No cheese? Yes, you heard me.  Do not even try to order a side of lettuce, tomato or cheese as thats already been tried before (by one of my friends along with many others).  However, let it happen and give it a go as you will enjoy this palette pleasure. Believe me, it is outstanding and the flavors and juices are hard to beat.

Word to the wise, double up on the fries and let loose with the homemade truffle mayo and ketchup.
