Shake Shack
Jump in line with the rest of the pack at Madison Square Park’s The Shake Shack. Holy buns this line is long!  However, don’t be turned away for two reasons. 1. It is definitely worth the wait of up to an hour at rush hour 2. The Shack Cam can assist timing your arrival to the back of the line. The thought of this simplistic but heavenly burger that awaits at the front of the hoards of people keeps customers coming back for more…and more.  Don’t be deterred when you reach the window to place your order only to find a few more minutes of waiting time before your buzzard sounds or your name to be called out over the boisterous crowd.

Take these few minutes to prepare yourself at the outdoor prep table of plastic wear, napkins, ketchup and mustard pumps, packets of mayonnaise, relish, S and P.  Once your burger buddies can pick off a table from the other patient patrons sit down and enjoy your burger in the park together.
The Shack Burger is prepared the way you like it or not, medium – medium rare but don’t even try to specify.  Accompanying the Shack Burger is a layer of melted American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions and Shack Sauce.  For those wondering what the Shack Sauce is comprised of think ketchup and mayo base but refrain from a Thousand Island mental/mouthful picture.  Sink your teeth into this Madison Mastery between two freshly baked and finger squishing buns.  For the impatient folk try the B Line for things other than shakes and hot food but know you are missing out!
